Ruby Abraham is a choreographer, dancer, and teacher currently based in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelors in Dance and a Bachelors in Environmental Studies. Her choreographic style is a contemporary blend of classical ballet and modern, along with personal explorations in improvisation. Opia, her recent work, was selected for the National Adjudication in the American College Dance Association and the UB Center for Excellence, and she hopes to present more upcoming works though Dance on Film and on the stage. Her newest works include: 'Time Is.' presented with the Williamsburg Art Nexus (WAX Works) at Triskelion Arts, and 'Tides,' shown at Fertile Ground with GreenSpace.
